NATIONAL SCOUT DAY 2010: Mr. Surachai Kanasa, the Governor of Samut Prakan, presided over the parade on the morning of 1st July 2010 marking National Scout Day in Thailand. Also in attendance was the head of the Education Area Office 1, Mr. Yongyuth Sapcharoen and Scouts and Guides from local schools. Scouting was first introduced in Thailand on July 1st 1911 by King Rama VI. Thailand was the third country in the world to take up Scouting.
พิธีทบทวนคำปฏิญาณและการ สวนสนามของ ลูกเสือ-เนตรนารี เนื่องในวันคล้ายวันสถาปนาคณะลูกเสือแห่ง ชาติ ปี 2533: นายสุรชัย ขันอาสา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ เป็นประธานในพิธีทบทวนคำปฏิญาณและการสวนสนามของ ลูกเสือ-เนตรนารี เนื่องในวันคล้ายวันสถาปนาคณะลูกเสือแห่งชาติ ณ บริเวณหน้าศาลากลางจังหวัด ในเวลา 9.00 วันที่ 1 ก.ค. 2533 โดยมีลูกเสือ-เนตรนารี จากโรงเรียนต่างๆ ในสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษา 1, 2 รวมถึงโรงเรียนสังกัดเทศบาลมาร่วมกิจกรรม

is at the far end of the Chao Phraya River, where it empties out into the Gulf of Thailand. The borders to the north and west join the Metropolitan of Bangkok. This photo album concentrates mainly on Paknam where we live, but we also have pictures about events and festivals around the province. We are close enough to Bangkok for people to come for a day trip. We don't get many independent foreign tourists so this is actually a good place to experience "Untouched Thailand".
