SAMUT PRAKAN RED SHIRTS ARRIVE AT SILOM: A convoy of red shirt supporters from Samut Prakan arrived at the Sala Daeng Intersection in Bangkok on the afternoon of 20th April 2010. There was a tense stand-off between the red shirts and the riot police at the top of Silom Road for about ten minutes. Finally, the red shirts announced that they were only teasing the police and that they wouldn't enter Silom.

is at the far end of the Chao Phraya River, where it empties out into the Gulf of Thailand. The borders to the north and west join the Metropolitan of Bangkok. This photo album concentrates mainly on Paknam where we live, but we also have pictures about events and festivals around the province. We are close enough to Bangkok for people to come for a day trip. We don't get many independent foreign tourists so this is actually a good place to experience "Untouched Thailand".
