SACRED NIMIT BALL CEREMONY: Mr. Surachai Kanasa, Governor of Samut Prakan, attended a ceremony on the afternoon of 13th February 2010 to bless the sacred "nimit" balls at Wat Rat Niyom Tham in Amphoe Bang Phli, Samut Prakan.
งานปิดทองฝังลูกนิมิตวัดราษฎร์นิยมธรรม: วันที่ 13 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 เวลา 12.49 น. นายสุรชัย ขันอาสา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ได้เดินทางไปเป็นประธานเปิดพิธีผูกพัทธสีมา ปิดทองฝังลูกนิมิตร ณ วัดราษฎร์นิยมธรรม คลองสี่ ต.บางปลา อ.บางพลี จ.สมุทรปราการ งานนี้จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 13-21 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 รวมเป็นระยะเวลา 9 วัน 9 คืน

is at the far end of the Chao Phraya River, where it empties out into the Gulf of Thailand. The borders to the north and west join the Metropolitan of Bangkok. This photo album concentrates mainly on Paknam where we live, but we also have pictures about events and festivals around the province. We are close enough to Bangkok for people to come for a day trip. We don't get many independent foreign tourists so this is actually a good place to experience "Untouched Thailand".
