IN MEMORY OF KHUN PAGPEAN VIRIYAPHANT: In memory of Khun Pagpean Viriyaphant, who died seven years ago, a merit making ceremony was held at The Erawan Museum early on the morning of 16th January 2010. This was followed by presentation of scholarships to 100 local students from Samut Prakan.

is at the far end of the Chao Phraya River, where it empties out into the Gulf of Thailand. The borders to the north and west join the Metropolitan of Bangkok. This photo album concentrates mainly on Paknam where we live, but we also have pictures about events and festivals around the province. We are close enough to Bangkok for people to come for a day trip. We don't get many independent foreign tourists so this is actually a good place to experience "Untouched Thailand".
